Went to bed at 10pm, woke up at 4:40am- hard to get up today, I wanted to just stay in bed but I pushed myself to get up so that I could kick Cindy's ass!

6:30pm- hungry
3 oz calamari
2 C homemade vegetable soup
1 C cooked okra
2 tsp omega blend oil
Drank water but not enough. I was SOOOO hungry all day today for some reason.
So I weighed myself today and I GAINED A POUND! WTF? This is what happens to me- the second I stop being hyper vigilant and weighing everything I gain weight, and then I say f- this and give up. I didn't think I went that crazy during week 2 but I guess I have to do better this week. It is just so frustrating!!! I start to panic and think I will never get to where I want to be.
Cindy went well, by round 4 I got into a groove with my pull ups- almost all of my pull ups were unbroken. I wish I could say the same for the push ups- they were tough! My previous best was 10 rounds Rx. Goal for next time is 14!
Stressful day at work today, but got through it without any chocolate so that's a plus.
Hang in there! It will get easier! Don't get discouraged about that 1 lb.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely don't get discouraged like Morgan said...but we already know you won't. DO IT!
ReplyDeleteAh the dreaded scale! I only lost a half a lb since last Wednesday...its definitely frustrating!! But, how are your clothes fitting? That's the funny thing with Paleo and crossfit...scale may say one thing biut your body is probably saying alot more :-) Keep on fighting!
ReplyDeleteMaria - Don't worry about the scale. Honestly there is nothing wrong with gaining weight. Especially a pound. There are so many things that can explain it and it's unlikely that any of them have anything to do with not measuring everything. For example you could have gained muscle, or you could have been retaining a little more water. Either way you're doing great. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteditto what del said!!! your doing great!!! keep it up!!! and definately ageree with amanda the scale hasnt moved for me in years but definatley have gone down in sizes and clothes feel better ect... but it is sooooo frustrating!!!
