Maria Week 3 Day 2

Went to bed around 10:30p, woke up at 7:20am- totally overslept, woke up frantic but well rested.  Only woke up once in the middle of the night.
9:00am- 3 oz salmon, 1 C cooked asparagus
12:00pm- STARVING- 3 oz tilapia, 2 C raw Kale, 1 1/4tsp fish oil
4:00pm- STARVING- 3 oz chicken breast, 1 C mixed veggies: brocc, caul, carrots, squash, 1 tsp olive oil
6:30pm- 3 oz tilapia, 1 C cooked collard greens, cauliflower, tomato, 1 tsp olive oil
almonds and walnuts, a few blueberries, 2 strawberries
8:30pm- 2 TBSP almond butter

Moderate stres at work- not too bad.  Rest Day for me, looking forward to Cindy tomorrow!  I have not weighed myself, I am really anxious about getting on the scale since I slacked during week 2 with regards to weighing and measuring.  I would rather be in denial- this is what gets me into trouble.  I don't want to see that weight gain and accept the consequences of my choices.

  1. Maria, you've been doing so great since the beginning. There is no way that you haven't made progress. No one says you have to get on the scale. So don't. Why torture yourself. Use measurements or something like that. It's a better indication of progress than the scale anyway! Keep doing what you're doing!

  3. I love that you're starving before meals...means your metabolism is flying. Maybe double your protein in the middle meals.
