Started the day off exhausted, but was determined to not miss the morning WOD. A)it helps my stress level and b) I am determined to trim this waist. Felt like a I ate a lot today I was hungry often and had snacks with me to satisfy. This leads me to haveing doubts about dropping this weight quickly. 11 days in I can feel a little frustration starting to build it was a lot easier putting on this belly than taking it off! If could eliminate the stress I would say this week was going great. The stress is just wearing me down a bit. Energy level during the day was pretty good, but getting up was tough. This weekend I plan on digging up some good paleo recipes to switch things ups. I have been eating a lot of repetitive type meals and I do not want to go down that road.
Hope everyone is doing well! Another weekend is in our sites. I just need to stay focused and push on.
If you're starving eat more meat. I keep telling everyone to eat more. With the WODs we do and how quickly our metabolism breaks down these Paleo meals it's no wonder why you are starving. Trust me!
ReplyDeleteJames - You're doing great, keep up the good work. And like Nitro said, if you're hungry eat more, you can never eat too much chicken, or veggies, it also doesn't look like you're getting much fat...only 1 serving of almonds, if you eat more fat with your meals you may not get as hungry as often.
ReplyDeleteJames, I think you are doing great! I am a big believer in weighing and measuring, it is a surefire way to get results and you may find that you are underereating
ReplyDeleteKeep it up, James. I can totally relate to the frustration building. It takes at least 3 weeks to see results...at least that is what someone told me. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely check out the link on the side for PaleOmg...her recipes are amazing and her blogs are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteAs far as stress, try to look into some stress relievers. I know Jay used to have us lay in silence for 2 minutes after a WOD to calm us down. Maybe try it during a lunch break, sit there and just take 2 minutes to relax and destress. Writing stuff down (things that are bothering me, etc.) helps me destress as well.
Thanks for the tips!
