I was supposed to be in the gym for 6am to do a cardio session, hang out for 30 minutes and then do yesterday's WOD but when my alarm went off at 5am my body said no way big boy you need more sleep. Shut my alarm off and slept till 8am. Feeling a lot better...STILL have that respiratory thing lingering but I took a bunch of mucinex yesterday and today to clear it out...seems to be working. I skipped the cardio session and just did the WOD couplet ladder pull ups/double unders. 19:07 not RX cause I couldn't get the second half of pull ups unbroken. My grip strength failed and I just couldn't hold onto the bar...forearms and hands still toast from Sunday. On a positive note I crushed the double unders...did I feel my heel pain...slighty. This was weighing very heavy on me mentally. But now I know I'm good to go!
Breakfest: 3 eggs/2 yolks w/TJs bacon, black coffee, 2 waters
Pre WOD vita coco
Post WOD protein shake
Lunch 1: turkey burger patty w/grilled Brussels sprouts, couple mini grape tomatoes
Snack 1: 1/2 avocado, 1 serving raw almonds
Lunch 2: baby spinach salad w/red onion, yellow bell pepper, cucumber, and chicken tenderloins w/ balsamic vinegar
Snack 2: 2 slices of deli turkey
Dinner 1: ground beef w/ red onion and garlic, sliced black olives, mini grape tomatoes over chopped summer squash
Snack 3: 1/2 yellow bell pepper, 1/2 avocado, piece of cucumber
Dinner 2: 6oz roasted pork loin w/onions and peppers
Nitro nice job. Talk to Dr. Jamie she may be able to help you with your respiratory thing. Instead of taking stuff like Mucinex I am sure she can make you up some sort of herbal tincture. Last time I had an issue similar I had one made up and it worked better than any caugh med or pharma that I would have used.
