AVF Day 11 - already?

Did not sleep well last night. Since Stan is traveling I'm on for morning chaos and was afraid I'd oversleep! Like that would ever happen. Really productive day at work but stressful as usual. Then had to figure out how I was going to go to the grocery store to get dinner and pick up the kids by 5:45 if I left work at 5. I did it...barely! Then finishing homework get the crazies to bed and then bake 50 whoopie pies for the father daughter dance tomorrow night. Seriously, as if my sugar cravings weren't bad enough, baking and staring at those pies was torture. Of course, I caved and ate one. I had to make sure they tasted alright, right? :). So weak. Amanda, I don't know how you work in a bakery. There is no way I could do it. I'm so impressed. 7:30 breakfast - protein shake and supplements 12:00 lunch, pork tenderloin and black bean chili leftovers. 3:45 snack - small gala apple and almond butter 9:30 whoopie pie No dinner and a dessert instead....not good. My sugar cravings hit me at night. I wonder if I'm not eating enough during the day or if it just habit? One of my goals is to get my blood glucose down as it is way too high causing me not to be able to lose fat. These sugar cravings certainly aren't helping. No WOD Have a good day, all.

  1. Maybe instead of cutting sugar out entirely and feeling deprived, have you tried satisfying the craving with a piece of dark chocolate? Like 70-80% cocoa? Just a thought!

  2. Oh trust me, its not easy being at the bakery at all. I've eaten my fair share of cupcakes haha just like last weekend I had to come to you guys to keep me from eating a cookie. You'll get there! Always come to us if you're having a craving, it definitely helps!
