Feeling good. Pretty sore from yesterday. Last day of programming gonna do some gymnastics work tonight and certain parts of the comp WOD to practice a couple things. Then I will rest until Saturday to get as close to 100% as possible. Probably get in one more cardio session as well. I'm definitely starting to get more focused and mentally logged in. The anticipation of this comp is very exciting. Saturday just can't come fast enough!
Breakfast: 3 eggs w/ 1 and a half servings of TJs bacon w/minced onion,,1 black coffee, 1 water
Snack 1: 1/2 yellow bell pepper
Lunch 1: 1 serving of ground turkey meat sauce
Snack 2: 1 serving raw almonds
Lunch 2: baby spinach salad w/red bell pepper, cucumber, minced onion, 1 can of bumble bee tuna on top with balsamic vinegar. This was good change from all the chicken, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Snack 3: 1 small avocado
Dinner 1: ground beef w/grilled garlic and red onion, w/mini grape tomatoes, sliced black olives atop chopped summer squash
Dinner 2: 1 serving TJs chicken serenada, 1 serving broccoli
Snack 4: I was still staving at like 10:30pm so I had a paleo kit but that didn't do it, so then some almond butter on a couple whole grain tortilla chips, still hungry so had about 5 buffalo chicken bites and then finished it all off with a small bag of pirates booty. After all that I was STILL hungry but shut it down and went to bed. Wow!
WOD:
HSPUs: 2x10 (Shoulders pretty beat up by all the thrusters last night, no excuses just saying)
Handstand walks/hold practice: 20 minutes (furthest I got was like 6-8 feet...need more practice)
Squat Snatch: 3 EMOM for 7 minutes @ 135lbs (This was pretty demanding but glad I got to practice)

ReplyDeleteI can do handstand walks like a BOSS...in the pool. If only it were that easy on dry land lol good job
