I actually feel very good today. I wouldn't say 100% but getting there. No sinus headache when I woke up this morning...first time in 2 weeks. Realized this morning after weigh in at CFM I'm not going to make 199 for Saturday morning. Doesn't change a thing...I'm just going to compete in a higher weight class. My end result is still the same...just WIN!

WOD AM: 20 minutes aerodyn (323 cals), 10 burpees
rest 4-5 minutes

WOD PM:
400m and thrusters:  shortened the last 2 runs, thrusters 19/16/15/19/16
Legs were cement after two rounds.  Almost skipped the run on round 5 and just did AMRAP thrusters for 2 minutes

Per-WOD: 1 black coffee, 8 oz of water
Breakfast: 3 eggs/2 yolks w/TJs bacon and minced onion
Snack 1: 1/2 avocado, 1 serving TJs dark choco espresso beans
Lunch 1: ground beef w/roasted garlic and red onions, diced mini tomatoes, sliced black olives over chopped summer squash
Snack 2: 1/2 red bell pepper, 1 serving macadamia nuts
Lunch 2: baby spinach salad w/yellow bell pepper, mini grape tomato, cucumber, minced onion w/chicken tenderloins and balsamic vinegar
Snack 3: 4oz pulled pork
Post WOD protein shake
Dinner 2: most likely plan bizzle.  Oh YEAH.  Bourbon BBQ tenders.  Teriyaki Burger with shaved steak, grilled onions, an egg with broccoli, coulda done without the broccoli but still great.  Had it in the grass w./ sweet potato fries.

  2. Neil! I loved your energy today at the gym. I'm so impressed that you did two WODs! Hope you get back to 100%, but you're def still killin it.

  4. Thanks Maria. Crossfit powerlifting comp in West Hartford on Saturday. Both me AND Yadi are competing. We're gonna KILL IT!!!
